Multiple modes selection
Within the app, there are many learning modes to select from, such as a conversation mode, a phone call mode, role-playing, debate, and many more, in addition to the conversation mode that comes with the free app version. Just subscribe to the app monthly or yearly, you can choose which modes to use for your own learning goals.
Sentence mode
Within the sentence mode, you can select different topics within the app, learn the sentences and practice pronouncing words like a native speaker. In this mode, there will also be an AI giving you the score on your pronunciation correctness.
Role-playing mode
When you tap on the role-playing mode, you can choose the conversational topic, where you will play the role of the character in that situation and AI will act as a counter partner. In the chat, you can use the microphone on your phone or computer to communicate and type in the conversation. Every typed sentence will be checked by AI with immediate feedback and correction, a great way to learn from your mistake real-time.
Debate mode
If you want to practice speaking in a more challenging topic, you can choose to go for the debate mode and select a debating topic of your interest. Within the mode, you can select which side you want to argue for and against. You can also use the microphone and the keyboard to chat with your AI speaking partner. Suitable for learners who want to take their language learning to the next level through complicate discussions.
Photo mode
You can choose to go to the photo mode to practice describing an image using at least 10 words. This mode is suitable for practice applying learned vocabulary, acquired from DuoCards or Duolingo for instances, to describe an object meaningfully. A great way to practice using newly learned vocabulary to enhance your memory recall of the words.
Call mode
Chat in German with Emma, your personal AI speaking partner who will help you practice speaking German. You can chat with Emma about anything you like without feeling embarrassed 24/7. An amazing way to practice your speaking skill without fearing anyone judging your pronunciation as you have the privacy of learning from the mistakes through the auto correction feature in the app.
